Joan discovered acting 10 years ago, and has appeared in over 40 productions in both Luzerne & Lackawanna counties. In the course of her pursuit of the ever-elusive perfection, Joan is a four-time NEPTA nominee, and this year was honored with the NEPTA award for Best Female Actor in a Comedy. A recent retiree, her other interest is her family, which includes five sons, their wives, and nine grandchildren. Joan is quoted as saying, "I'm delighted to be part of the V-Day project, and to be affiliated with this group of awesome women!" She is dedicating her performance to everyone who has a vagina - and those who wish they did.

Ellen O'Brien humbly stands beside all these talented women to help raise awareness and celebrate womanhood. Ellen is very honored to have worked with Pulitizer Prize winning author Jason Miller on several projects including the 1998 production of his play "Nobody Hears a Broken Drum" in which she played the role of Jenny Malone. Ellen was in Showcase Theatre's award winning production of "Picasso at the Lapin Agile" and recently originated the character of "Elaine" in W.A.T.E.'s p roduction of "Cubes". Most of all Ellen loves being married to the talented Jason Sherry. He does an awesome Christopher Walken impersonation and thinks Ellen's vagina ROCKS!

A California native who grew up in West Scranton, Wendy Maopolski is the editor of electric city. A graduate of West Scranton High School and San Jose (Calif.) State University, she has been an employee of the Scranton Times/Tribune for ten years now, working in a variety of positions, including news reporter and lifestyles department writer. Since moving back to NEPA from California's San Francisco Bay Area ten years ago, Wendy has served on the board of Scranton Tomorrow, The Pennsylvania Film Festival, and the Everhart Museum's Party in Park Committee. Her vagina has rendered a rather spectacular offspring, Lily Anastasia, who is 7.
