  • Feb. 7, 2002 Panel discussion of Women's Images.  Including include images of women in the media, women's images of themselves, society's images of women, etc. Moderated by Paula Deignan-Reynolds of WARM 590 AM and WB-38. panelists include Terry Bonifanti of The Scranton Times-Tribune, Dr. Elizabeth Randol of the Jane Kopas Women's Center at the University of Scranton, Patricia M. Kwetkauskie Trainer/Educator for the Domestic Violence Service Center and current Chair of the Luzerne County Commission for Women, Anne Gauber, and psychologist Diane Kay Siegmund. Times Shamrock Historic Radio Theater. 7 p.m. Admission is free, donations will be collected.
  • Feb. 14 The Vagina Monologues by Eve Ensler. Diva Theater, Scranton. 8 p.m. SOLD OUT.
  • Feb 14. Premiere screening of The Vagina Monologues on HBO. 9:30 P.M. Set your VCR or tune in for subsequent screenings.
  • Feb. 14 Silent Auction. Donated items TBA. Place your bids before and after the show.
  • Feb. 24 "Write Your Own Vagina Monologue" Writing workshop facilitated by Linda Eisen. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. $25 with your The Vagina Monologues ticket purchase or $40 without.
  • March 8  "Afghanistan is Everywhere"
  • March, 14  Gala Celebration. Diva Theater. Premiere of a "behind the scenes of V-Day Scranton 2002" documentary film by local filmmaker Laurie Kostick. Dinner and live entertainment included. Tickets are $25 per person or $10 for V-Day Scranton qualifying volunteers or included with qualifying financial or in-kind sponsorship.
